It behooves us to get every single american who could vote to vote in 2012 …. I am tired of those on the right who say we are not a democracy … we may have a republican form of government and because everyone is not voting we are ruled by a minority of influential and wealthy individuals who mostly comprise the corpocracy ….
Yet we are STILL a democracy … but only if 100% of americans vote ….. only then will the TRUE majority be heard. That is why voter suppression is at the top of the list of republicans in order to maintain their corporate owned and sponsored stranglehold on freedom, equality and justice for all.
I call it the tyranny of the minority. It is time to abandon a republican form of government and replace it with one that represents the will of all the people ….. have no doubts we are a democracy … and we can choose our form of government. WE are not comprised of the republic of Alabama or the republic of Texas as Perry would have it. We are not the United republics of America as Scott Walker and his fellow GOP governors would have it. It is time for majority rule and to dispel the GOP tyrants in the minority who rule us today.
The failure to vote is the reason we have the mess we do now. The majority of americans who vote and who could but don’t know the difference between fair and unfair and right and wrong.
It is time for us all to begin getting out the vote for 2012 … so that the TRUE majority is represented and not those who covet what is best for america just for themselves and their heirs.
